Every day at NPS is special for children because it is such a busy, purposeful school.
Throughout the year extra special events are planned for different reasons:
- to enhance learning
- to celebrate achievements
- to provide opportunities to showcase talents
- to promote the important partnership with parents
Children enjoy performing in plays and musicals with the choir and swingband featuring at important events.
Sports afternoons and galas are exciting school events which take place alongside the many sports fixtures which parents enjoy watching!
Special Open Afternoons give opportunities for parents to see NPS in action and information evenings mean that everyone understands the learning process!
Events to welcome parents into school life are planned every year so that parents and staff get to know one another really well.
Varied social events take place involving children, staff and parents such as Fayres, Ceilidh, Ball and sponsored runs!
A wonderful celebration of NPS life takes place at the end of every academic year with children making their own unique presentations, involving a clever use of technology - always a 'moving' experience for everyone.
So much happens in a year at NPS so a Monthly Update makes sure that the whole school community is kept informed!
NPS is a forward looking school which consequently never stands still. New resources, methods of teaching, learning opportunities, an ever increasing range of visits and activities are ways that NPS continues to provide the very best in primary education.
