Year 6 relished the opportunity to take their English lesson outdoors today. A drama lesson was enjoyed in the sunshine where the children recreated 'freeze frames' from the book they are reading in lessons. They learned how important facial expressions and body language is when showing the feelings or thoughts of the characters in the text. To finish, they listened to the next chapter of the book - it was great fun!
