Year 3 had a choc-tastic maths lesson today, using chocolate buttons to help us with our fraction work. We counted out different amounts of buttons and used our knowledge of unit fractions and mixed numbers to divide them into halves, thirds and quarters. We agreed it was important to know our fractions so that everybody got a fair share!
