In English this this week, Year 6 have been looking at the book, ‘The Silence Seeker’. In this story, the words asylum seeker are misheard for silence seeker and we are taken on an journey of a boy helping another find silence and peace. Today, we walked around our local area to see if we could find silence, like the characters do in the story. We did not find silence. But, we did find that you do not need silence to feel at peace. This linked nicely to Children's Mental Health Week and today's theme of 'Take Notice' from the five ways to wellbeing.
